Hey y’all. We’re going to Disney right before Memorial Day.
ANY TIPS ON HOW TO SURVIVE DISNEY WITH A LITTLE ONE?
ANY MUST HAVES/THINGS TO BRING?
He’ll only be 17 months so I wonder how many experiences we can do with him. I don’t really mind missing majority of the rides. What was your experience like?
Also, if you get on a ride, are you able to safely store your stroller anywhere?
THANKS IN ADVANCE!

They have designated stroller parking for all the rides. Magic Kingdom is going to have the most rides. We take her on all rides that don’t have a height requirement. Hollywood studios has the least amount of rides for baby (toy Story and runaway) but they are still fun. When we get a hotel, we always go back mid day for her nap and we usually nap too! lol Look into Genie + to avoid long lines. Get a stroller fan as it will be hot, which is also a good reason to take a mid day break.
We are season pass holders and have taken our Dec baby since 2 months old. Ask me anything!

@cchelsxo,
I applied to work for Disney a few years back and they take it very seriously to create an enjoyable experience, so they have employees that specifically walk around the park and keep an eye on things to include watching for anything suspicious, like people messing with your stroller, or picking up items left behind. My stepson left his digital camera on a park bench (this was like 8 years ago.) I thought, there's no chance of recovering it. But you try anyhow, right? Not only did we get it back but it was fairly easy. Hope this helps!

We went in January! Snacks, snacks and more snacks 😂 Be patient and give your little one time to just run around. My babe always napped in the park, either in a carrier or stroller. Her nap schedule went out the window because vacation was so stimulating she got tired waaaay quicker, so really pay attention to sleep ques to avoid melt downs. (we failed bad one day and it resulted in a 45 minute screaming melt down from being over tired and over stimulated) rider switch is the way to go!

Okay so we literally JUST got back from Disney world with our 15 month old and it was a great experience! We did 3 park days, magic kingdom Epcot and animal kingdom (we opted out of Hollywood since it had the least we could do) day 1 we did stroller nap and days 2&3 we went back to our resort for mid day nap. We did 1 character dinning and everything else quick service. We also packed a lunch and snacks each day for our LO so we always had options that she was familiar with and liked and quick to grab if we were in line. No one messed with our stuff at stroller parking which was a big concern of mine. Altogether we did 15 rides and met 15 characters during our trip which I felt like was a lot and went really well! I’ll add the link for the stroller tag we bought to identify our stroller easier too!

We’ve done Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom and loved Animal Kingdom way more. So many animals to see, Dinosaur land, Lion King show….great park. Go to the safari first thing before lines get crazy long. Pack lots of snacks, sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, portable fan (it’s already getting hot down here). You can take in water cup for the baby and an extra bottle for you. We usually stop for lunch and grab some chicken and French fries for the kids midday.

Get to the park when they open and go back to the hotel for nap time. If your LO seems up for it go back to the park for a second round after nap and if not just hang by the pool instead. Keep an open mind and don’t try to over schedule. They’re gonna have the best time even if you only get to do what seems like a very small amount of the attractions. It’s a lot of stimulation at this age!
